Ok, got it. Now the context makes better. Barre is from Galgaduud, some guy was playing regionalism saying reer Galgaduud are causing the problems in Gedo. I told him, without all the reer Gedo commanders and spokesmen for Barre like those guys named above, Barre would have as much power in Gedo as Siilaanyo...meaning without reer Gedo support, Barre would have zero power in Gedo so the whole regionalism the guy was playing does not make sense.
