Im just adding to this topic because I couldnt be asked to create a new one.

Haye, you know they say to wait 6 weeks before removing a new piercing. Well, I got a new one done on the top of my ear a week and a half ago, its been throbing badly for a day now and it looks a bit swollen. Is it way too early to remove it and should I just stick it out for a few weeks and hope the pain subsides and goes away.

Yeah man. But I was looking to take it out for a few hours then replace the stud. though my sis just said to me its because I havnt been applying the liquid often enough (you know the one that keeps it from being infected), so I just placed a few drops on it now and hope the swelling goes down.

Yikes I remember when my piercing used to get an allergic reaction to certain earrings, not pretty. Hope it gets better.
