The fact is those who fought against the siyad bare govt in the 80s took part of the union in the 60s they knew the union in 1960 was wrong when they were fighting they wanted to make things right . But they did not talk about claiming back the independence of somaliland. during the struggle the objective was first to clean the land from the faqash . and then we shall see what the Isxaaq nation want there was a mujaheed xassan kayd he carried Coup d'état in 1961 to make somaliland an independent country again it failed , in 1982 he joined the SNM. in 1991 the dream became a reality

The Foreign Minister in the FarMaajo administration is ISAAQ. He's against "Somaliland"...

so what the one before ,, omaar was isaaq to did that change anything omaar was a foreing minister in 2009 he was sacked wa iska caadi its called the TFG it has no real meaning

Ask yourself...for 20 years why didn't Somaliland get recognized? Let me tell you why...

There are famous Isaaq politicians that are PRO-SOMALIA and Anti-Somaliland. Secondly, the over-whelmingly HARTI, Gabooye and Gedobursi clans are all PRO-SOMALIA. It's just sad to see that you're stuck on something that is a figment of your imagination.

ask your self why is somalia is still in turmoil and a failed state after 20 years since afweyne was ousted, its just sad that this will contineu and contineu for the next coming decades

The reason is because of clans fighting for MOGADISHU and now a new threat..Al Shabaab. Somaliland is part of Somalia, always was and always will. Technically, it's preserved for SOMALIA as well, continue on building for us.

why would we fight gadabuursi they are our best allies since 1991

and the harti in somaliland are getting more on the somaliland side then ever

I assure you, if I get a good position and a good salary in a future Somaliland Governmental administration I will consider myself a SOMALILANDER...until that is taken away from me.
