Sure it does. How many people on this net and elsewhere have slurred my country and its institutions? How many people have insulted my Army, the Army I love that I have been a part of for 25 years? If you post something here on the net citing it as a solution, then response to said post (including negative and hostile response) is completely legitimate. Think about it. If I were to post "The solution to the problems of the Middle East is the adaptation of Jefforsonian Democracy" would people here on the net not be free to criticize that? Would Jefferson himself (and his illicit relationship with Sally Hemmings) not be grist for the mill?

What certain people here want is the ability to post Islamic teachings free from critic while at the same time criticizing all other forms of government, institutions and faiths. Obviously that is hypocritical and isn't going to happen.

What people here are stuggling to understand is I care as little about their feelings as they about mine.

The insults develop this way. Someone cites some Islamic solution to some social problem. MAC responds with why that won't work. The poster then goes down the trail of insulting MAC AND his prefered institutions. MAC retaliates in kind. Now, this is a pattern that has taken place over a series of years, not a thread to threat kind of thing.

Also, I don't claim to be a particularly nice person. If you want nice, then talk with Kamal. He tries to be nice. I kill people for a living, doesn't make me the nicest of people on the planet. But then again, I never claimed to be.

There's nothing you can do. If you could convince the people here on the net to treat my values the way you wish for me to treat Islam, then we would have detente. But you can not do that, for people like the sister here regard Islam as sacrosanct and all others as "trash".

What I find disturbing is that you would resort to violence instead of dialog in personal discussions. It seems that Muslims are all too willing to use violence in the face of critic. Actually I think it was a sand pimp, but be that as it may, I don't love Mohammed. In fact, I don't particularly like him. Do I not have the right to dislike whom I choose and express that dislike? Or do only Muslims have the right to dislike whom they choose and express their likes and dislikes?

It is true, Muslims can kill, and they do so often. Mostly they kill each other, because their dialoge and absolutist power struggles lead to internecine violence.
