One of her song was featured in a saab commerical which is how i came to know her, but i don't think she's somali. I believe she's an ethiopian. Look at her eyes.

I was thinking the same. Many Ethiopians come to the West as Somalis. I came across her awhile back. The way she sings reminds me of that British mulatto musician. I forgot her name.

Asha ali is a swedish-ethiopian immigrant. But i always suspected her for being from ogaden or something. She is actually very popular here in Sweden and she does very good music.

Asha ali wasnt born in Somalia, she was born in Ethiopia. And applied for asylum as a ethiopian. But yeah she is somali i suppose, atleast i suspect it
