Wallahi what you wrote was an attack on Islam not if you meant it or not. What you wrote up there is the classic attack on Islam from Somalis who left it not that I am saying you have. Arabized people are Sudanese and Swahili. People who had a complete revamping of their identity. James Dahl who is the most prominent non-Somali here himself observed Somalis as being less Arabized than Eritrea. Equating Islam doing away with jahiliah aspects of Somali "culture" is akin to a Bedouin saying Islam destroyed my culture that allowed me female infanticide. What's wrong with naming such as Muhammad and Abdullah? Since we have covered the name part. What culture, heredaty, and everything "Arab" was embraced besides Islam? The way we marry is Islamic, the way we pray is Islamic, the views and philosophy about life we have is Islamic, the way we use the bathroom, and how and what we eat is Islamic...all of which was considered anti-Arab by the Arabs when Islam was brought to them and subjugated and oppressed the Muslims for.
