even if this is true why would people who convert to islam have to change their name in to ARABIC name??

TAHIRA?? there is no need to change your name to arabic one if you convert to Islam.

forxample all people who converted ISLAM the prophets scw time all of them hade their original name

OMAR BIN KHADAAB converted islam from paganism when he was pagan hes name was OMAR and when he converted islam still hes name is Omar.
Uthmaan is same
ABU SUFYAAN too he was called abu sufyaan before he was muslim

so a christians person called JOHN or william if that person converts ISLAM there is no need to cnange hes name in to ARABIC NAME.

william too is islamic name
cawaale too is islamic name
rooble too is islamic name

NO NEED TO BE CALLED TAHIRA OR SHABAZ OR ABDULRAHMAN all is common arabic name even before ISLAM come on to this world.
