It is true there is peace in the places that AS controls, but it is a short lived one because right now there is no central government, that is why people are tolerating AS. Why do you think people in PL are tolerating Faroole? why do you think SSC people keep running back to Hargeysa? why do you think Ximan iyo Xeeb wants nothing to do with GalMudug?

In addition, as long as Alshabaab are taking what they want and doing what they want and there is no one group that can go up against them and complain, there will be peace.

Im not in the side of AS but I just don't like corrupted hypocrites like TFG that can't even govern one city let alone be trusted to govern the whole country. Sheikh Shariif was against the whole Ethiopian invasion but is ok for AMISOM to take over the country. I just don't get it?

To me AS and TFG are the same. Both corrupt kill innocent people and are controlled by foreigners. What is funny is people oppose one side so much while the other is welcomed.

TFG is just a transitional government, once we have a legitimate elected gov body alot of these issues will be eliminated, because there will be accountability. Somali people are hungry for a leader, a government that represents them, protects them and takes care of their needs.

That is why people have nothing to replace AS with in the South at the moment.
From its inception, the TFG was designed to fail, just analyse its pattern starting from Abdiqasim to Sharif. Same scenarios.

However, this TFG, Farmaajo's team are not warlords, what we have here is a technocracy movement.
They are doing their best and have so far shocked the International community at every turn. I believe if every Somali rallies behind them, we will get through this transitional period, there will be no foreign interference, for the first time in 40+ years we will have elections and newly elected government by the people for the people.

It is time we think about what is good for our nation and come together as one.

Alshabaab is not in transition, it's permanent institution. There is no going back, there is no "i've changed my mind" or "I have a complaint". International relations with non muslim countries under AS will be not allowed.
To put it simply, Alshabaab have no clue on how to run a country.
