Aha, makes sense, especially your ciidul adxaa argument is very strongmelo wrote:Well if your intention is to follow in the way of the prophet, then yes. No different than every other practice of the prophet saws.abdalla11 wrote:So by eating meat you will get closer to Allah and His Paradise, because following the sunnah gets you closer to Allah, is that what you're saying?melo wrote:vegetarianism is not sunnah. Our prophet saws was a meat eater. If you want to follow a kaafir philosophy, which is against the Sunnah of Allah and his prophet, then go a head.
The thing is, our religion and tradition never upheld this thing called vegetarianism. We have a whole CIID, called ciid al-adxa which is based on the sacrifice of animals, which are then eat. It is type of farx. This vegetarianism thing came from other cultures and other diins- namely hinduism. It was never known in our tradition as Somalis. I would therefore question upholding this thing, unless meat is causing you physical problems. The arguments that eating animals is inhumane is a kaafir invention.
Secondly, vegetarianism focks off the food cycle chain. If human beings stopped eating meat, all shit would break loose. Trust.
