My family members has been high ranking ethiopian politicans and military officials since 1930, so afcaouse I know the map you posted, Meru you kenyans are too late in the colonizing of Somalia, Ethiopia has since the 1990s established political and economical dominance over the two northern somali regions " Somaliland" and " Puntland" although the new somaliland adminstration lead by Ahmed Silanyo has shown more indepedence after getting european and arab support, we have also by supporting warlords in central and southern somalia got dominance over those regions.... the Gedo, Jubba, and Hiiraan regions in southern Somalia has lush farm areas which is unpopulated, Ethiopia has overpopulation and as we speak thosands of ethiophians are living in Somalia, we are not only taking the northern part..... Kenya are just trying to rescue some land with the Azania project... but infact the Jubba areas is not going to Kenya without a figth........ its silly that we have to discuss this in 2011, if only the UN had listen to Ethiopia in 1959 when we were telling them that somalis don't know how to rule a country, and should not get their indepedence in 1960. Meru I am telling you that Kenya can easly influcene parts of somalia, somalis have a holy relationship to their clan but don't have patriotic feelings, the will sell their fellow somalis if they happen to be from the enemy clan..... and yes Somalia as a nation will never return.... getting rid of the somali PM Mohamed Farmajoo was a good step towards our plans, the guy was too nationalistic.

Yes we were forced to get help in 1977, but thats because the somali army was too strong, we only got money in 2006... we and the West has same interests in the horn of Africa......
