yes i know Somalis are a problematic lot, they can bring the entire EAC down with them, so i agree with you there, but the main benefit is that EAC can acquire more manpower in terms of labor to work for the factories and they can benefit from low wages.

Do you understand this is how the Somali bantu came to be? Somalis simply do not do manual labor and so the colonists had to export workers from other parts of Africa. This Kenyan has a lot to learn about Somalis if he thinks a Somali man will do manual labor in Africa. The poorest Somali in Kenya will contract a native Kenyan to do basic house chores for them.
