I was caught in this position time ago once.
Started a job in mid july, first pay check was going to be at the start of september and i was so broke i literally had my whole account balance in my pockets. Some girl i knew from secondary realised the situation and offered me some money. I didn't want to accept but at the same time i didn't wanne go round begging people especially my parents. After some contemplation i accepted and i ended up giving her money back on september before i even spend a penny on myself.

Say financial wise u seen better days and some girl ur either close to or talking to offers you money and I dont mean pocket change, as a man would you feel comfortable accepting it or is ur ego too big?

I would take it, and treat it as a interest-free loan. I'll give her back when the financial situation gets better. If she is Islamic-loving and has high deen, then you know for sure that she wouldn't use it against you. It depends really.

if you take it from her, the relationship is probably gonna be over. Lets be real, the more a woman invests in a man: time, money, gifts, the higher expectations she has of him. And by higher expectations, she generally expects commitments. Unless your planning on getting hitched, you not wanting to move the relationship forward and her feeling as though shes investing in a sinking ship will lead to fighting. And fighting with somebody you're indebted a significant amount to is a bad idea. Why do you think you should never mix business with pleasure?

No matter how bad things are for you financially (which really can't be too terrible since you're living at home) it can't be worse than how bad things are gonna be for you when you got halimo talking all over the town about how much time and effort she put into your relationship and she even gave you money but you still didn't 'man up' and pop the question. this is a recipe for disaster.
