People who have no concrete evidence to argue based on facts use the above statement of the thread starter. In the time of the Prophet Muhammad (saaw) many Arabs including his uncle stood against him when he relieved Islam to be the true religion. They have been difficult people to deal with since the beginning of times, hence why the last Prophet came from them. They were undisciplined, ruthless and unclothed and Islam was/is the only thing saved them.
When people say things about Arabs (whether true or untrue) it is not coming from hatred of Islam, but because they have dealt with Arabs and understand the nature of the particular individuals, you are making a grave mistake by linking Islam with Arabs. What is with some Somalis and their obsession with Arabs? no one is free from criticism. If the Somalis of today lived in the time of colonization we would have been slaves, instead of known foot soldiers.

Emperior, Arabs have done a lot of disservice to Somalis and Somalia, if you read and stop chewing qaat and talking about clan, maybe you would know reality.

No no no, you have confused religion and culture. Most people attack the culture, not religion. For example, people attack Saudi Arabia because of they oppress the women, banning them from driving the car. Whose fault is it? Culture.

Don't get me wrong, there are definitely those who hide behind hating Arabs when they really hate Islam, and they're filthy cowards. Lakiin to say that anyone who has anything negative to say about Arabs is actually an Islam hater is equally absurd.

He was a Prophet, and he was different from anyone, including the race he came from. The behavior, the lifestyle, dedication, kindness, strength, wisdom, can never be duplicated. You have to put him above us, and above his people. He was chosen for a reason by God, because he exhibited characteristics that were uncommon to his people at that time, or perhaps in general. Like I said previously, no one is free from criticism. Funny how many people talk about Somali clan [insert name here] being evil and animals and that is not frowned upon. But talk about an Arab [who threw hot boiling water on a servant], and people start screaming to the heavens.

1ne, that's my point sxb, they shouldn't be the odd ones out for better or for worse...they're regular people like you and me and aren't above fault or criticism just because the Prophet SAW was an Arab.

You're right, it is debatable, but the fact that they're even in that debate shows Arabs aren't beyond reproach.
