That racist bastard was going on about how he hates all black blah blah
Then Theroux asked if he could see his record collection
It was full of Motown Artis

All whites love black music. Even in the States, rednecks sold out all the Lil Wayne's CD's

Point out just one illogical fallacy
Hasty generalization. One white man (who is specifically sought out for a documentary and surprises even the presenter) is that "tough", so the whole community of Boers are "tough".

Actually that wasn't a generalisation. In fact it was an under-representation. South Africa is even more racialised than the States. This Afrikaaner had the guts to say the truth, that's all. But all Afrikaaners agree with him. If you ever have an opportunity of visiting J'Burg, Durban or Cape Town you would know reality. There is no fallacy, SA is as bad as it gets when it comes to open racism between blacks and whites.

I was on this very forum when I was in South Africa. I haven't been to Durban, but I have been to Johannesburg (stayed a week in 5 star hotel in Sandton near the Monte Casino where I went for nights out, as well as a week in Soweto at a hostel) where I traveled throughout the city and Gauteng in general. I also went to Cape-Town where I stayed in a hotel in Downtown as well as in a hotel near the Marina (Somali brothers had a store and adjoining net cafe right next to the hotel and I used to go to then for sheeko and tea) but also traveled extensively in the Cape Valley including outlying slums. I also went all the way northeast to Mpumalanga near Mozambique.

Your credibility is being born in South Africa 20+ years ago (a kid born in a military base is now a military scientist?) while my experience is relatively recent and relative diverse in my interactions in that country.
