but i dont understand how females enjoy such a wedding ma iyaga isi shukaansan raba
That is what is wrong with mixed weddings so ma aha? Crashers make it a shukaansi zone and end up ruining for those are there for their relatives and family.
The last mixed /wedding i attended was 07.I dislike weddings or any big gathering for that matter.I avoid it if i can get away with it.
Buraanbur on the other hand,i watch islaamo play it so nice. And to see them get possessed when they hear their clan being praised is priceless.

The eedo that was praying sitting down does the highest jumps.
Ps. I did once attend a wedding once just to see Nakruuma in action.

Who taught you?
Sometimes I watch wedding videos and try to practice, it can be an art if you know your thing.

I know what you mean.

Last time I watched islaamo doing buraanbur, I was a small kid of course, and damn what an impression it made on me seeing hundreds of women going crazy on the tribal poetry and the drum beats. Also the only time I ever saw my mother dance the buraanbur. My mother doesn't even listen to music.

And me and my friends make fun of those who just jump in with no talent, we curse at them to get off the stage, it's painful to watch them, GTFOH

I've only attended one separated wedding and it was so boring. The women all sat around gossiped, then ate, then buranbur, I felt out of place, I would have left but I was giving my granny a ride so I had to stick around until she wanted to go.

But now I only attend my family weddings, which are mostly wadaad weddings. When I marry, I want it to be as simple and segregated as possible, bariis, hilib & wadaad for us men in the afternoon and saashaar for the ladies in the evening. Honeymoon = Umrah to the holy cities. And I expect lots of gifts in the form of money and furniture from friends and family.

Never. Don't think I ever will.
I once ushered in and out a friend who was picking up the bride. It was gut wrenching. Thought I'd puke. Had to pull the car over to the shoulder on the drive home and gather myself. : (
