And my point is that those people from South Somalia in Bosaso will not go back to the south. Why would they go back to places where they will be raped and killed? They didn't leave the south because of the land, they left because the people of the south are not reasonable and they are not people whom you can live peacefully amongst. People from South Somalia whom came to North Somalia did not go there because they see the people in North as great or whatever you are labelling them. They went there because of the peace there. They seeked refuge there, some as IDP's and some as businessman. I suggest you talk in a respectful way and mature way, cause all you are doing is keep labelling the people of South Somalia as vicious animals.

You don't make sense, why would a Southerner who came to North Somalia hate his own flesh and blood or his clan? Why would a Marehan in North Somalia stay there if his land in the South is peaceful? Why would a Hawiye in North Somalia stay there if his land in the South is peaceful? Why would he be scared of his own people?

My own relatives whom built homes and business in Puntland have in the past 3 years re-located to Caabudwaaq, Balanbale, Dhabad etc, because over the last 3 years peace has pre-vailed in those places. Likewise each southerner will leave North Somalia once his own land is peaceful.

Stop thinking so highly of yourself, every Somali is the same.

Business people go where ever there are likely financial rewards and they will continue regardless of the differing political constructs across the horn/africa.

Conflict in the south creates the opportunity for northerners to claim association and it is the conflict in the south that opens doors for outsiders to gain platforms. Once there is peace in the south the political epicentre will shift to appease southern clans leaving all others marginalised. Southern peace and neighbourly bonding will strengthen northern peace and neighbourly bonding. Disfranchised northers will have negligible political relevance in a peacefull united south. In time of peace such political manuvering will be seen as political prostitution.

Somalia has 3 rivers:

Shabelle River

Juba River

Dawwa river.

I guees you weren't aware of the existance of Dawwa river.

Dawwa river is located in Gedo region, it spilts from Juba river in Doolow, it goes past Beled-Xaawo districts and enters Mandera and goes through NFD.

Actually I was being quite fair, my own initial estimation was that 50% of the population of North Somalia are from the South. But 40% is reasonable.

Business peope go to places whom are peaceful, they fear their businesses to be spoilt by wars or criminal activity. Business people go to places that aren't risky.

Lets not go to far, we are dicussing Somalia not the Horn. Even if we do discuss the Horn, you will notice that all the businesses in Kenya, Uganda or Ethiopia are owned by people from Southern Somalia due to their lands being in chaos.

In regards to your political aspect, I believe in every point, except where you say that North Somalia peace will get strengthen. In todays politics in the North I don't think peace will strenghten there once the South gets peace. Unless they abandon their political ideology.
