I almost fell out of my chair when I saw his photo yesterday. I knew his face but forgot his name, so when I saw the headline and in the back of my mind I said "its going to be him" and when I clicked I almost had a heart-attack. Mainly because someone here a few months ago erroneously stated that he was dead then.

AUN, he was a religious scholar and and an academician, a person of great standing.

may Allah have forgiveness and blessings on our brother. you can tell people loved him by the number of people that showed up for the burial, he will be missed, may Allah keep the muslims safe and protect those who instruct and guide people on the path of Allah....aamiin

I swear this is the biggest funeral procession I have ever heard of inside Somalia. There was no organization or planning, people just came together spontaneously.
