No argument. Just stating that it is all hopeless and any help = futile. Besides, any of you here would do the same thing the politicians/warlords are doing, if you were in their shoes. You are all flawed.

Why do you say we would do the same? Is it because everyone you thought would be good has so far done otherwise?

I agree with one particular thing metamorph has said .

If you can't beat them , join them .

Tribalism is an impulse . What is an impulse ? a strong urge to act a certain way .
You have to get in there if you wanna steer the discussion in a certain direction . The risk of course is to be perceived negatively .
So let me recap , you use tribalism to build cohesion from the ground up in an outward , expanding motion , that's how we do it . The trajectory of course not being one of conquest/dominance but one of equality .
If you don't know how to use it , it is lethal
