The cagaaran or Rako Raxo -Bari Majerteen conflict where many people were massacred wasn't about oil though but land disputes and grazing rights. You can say the Galgala conflict was resource based as the Puntland adminstration wanted to steal the resources in the Majiyahan mountains.
