Umada muslimka goorma ayaa mudaharaad ugu horeysay?
I would think that the Prophet and sahaabi walking to the ka'bah and declaring themselves is a form of protest
Good point sxb.

but the difference is the NABIS (aun) were sent by GOD to convey a message.
I don't get the point you're trynna make :|

Declaring yourself and the message you are carrying is far from being a protester.

How so? You're protesting the establishment that there is. You're saying that the ruler, and his laws, and that society is wrong. Isn't that what protesters do?

what they did was convey a message and were met with protests.
It was not they who were protesting, they were simply carrying a
message. Those that didn't like the message were the protesters.

lool, at u flipping it. The people who go against the status quo are the protesters my friend, the prophet and sahaabi were going against the status quo, they were protesters, they were revolutionaries.

Shirib that hadith is very weak and even if it were true they just walked to kaba and prayed, no screaming, intermixing and no placards, lol.

You got it confused breh.

The way you put it, you have it
sounding as if the word of GOD
is protesting.

The refusers of the word of GOD
were the protesters.

So if a ruler is doing something unislamic. And me and a bunch of other people gather outside march to the city center and tell him he's wrong and quote the Quran, the ruler is the protester?

In this case you are the protester.

But If i were rulling you unislamically
and you quoted the word of GOD
and i didn't listen to it/disregarded it
then i become the protester for i have
disobeyed word GOD and chose to go
against it.

So when the Nabi and sahaaba, gather and march to the kabah, how are they not protesting? Protesting by definition is going against the status quo, and that's what they were doing.

People protest about things they are powerless to change or do something about.

The NABI (pbh) was not protesting as it would imply that he was
powerless.

your first assumption is wrong. protesting is a means to do or change something in itself.

At the time he was doing that the nabi saw was pretty powerless to do much. It wasn't till after the hijra, that RasulluAllah had any real power.

How could he have been powerless when he had assurance from GOD that he will succeed?

He was under the protection of his uncle, which is pretty much the only reason Quraish didn't kill him initially. When sahaaba were being killed and persecuted he had no power to stop them. He was pelted with rocks, and couldn't defend himself. RasuluAllah was fairly powerless until the hijra. That was pretty much the whole reason for the hijra.
