You have become markedly sensitive in an unnecessary manner Beans. I suppose it's best I tell you the topic has already been sidetracked to an appreciable degree; very unfitting.

That's even more partisan. Beans didn't become situationally conditioned but rather was acculturated naturally in such an environment. The point is still valid although more cemented now as a result of this new development.

Voltage it depends where in Nairobi you reside.
But I wouldnt deny the fact that crime is rife in Nairobi and its unsafe to even drive after 9 pm.
But facts still remain that Nairobi rocks. 8-)

As for Mombasa its has other underlying issues like drugs being rampant and readily available. Not forgeting gays and paedophiles roaming the streets.
Last but not least there is Vudoo.

I thoroughly enjoy this wondrous city with all of its delights. Nothing like the repressed, madness called Somalia.

Must Visit Places:

1. Casablancas on Somali Night - Wow 8-)

2. Fuego De Gauchos - Mashallah, best Brazilian BBQ

3. Westland Club Districts - Galileos, Gypsies, Black Diamond, Rezerous, Red Tape

4. Nairobi National Park - Good for a lazy Saturday drive

5. Savannah Cafe or Grand Regency Hotel - Meet every war criminal to have ruined Somalia. See these animals outside their natural environment. I love to visit my favorite "adeer" and political mentor, Halyey Maxamed Qanyare

I love this city where you can do whatever you want and rebalance yourself before returning to the shitholez in the land of the nutty people who dislike enjoying life.

Btw, did anyone go to the Somali party last night ? Eastleigh represented in full force and the caliber of chicks was very impressive.

Cabdi, it is not comparable to the saar nights in BoruHache, Garsaale and Busaar, is it?

Did we visit the same Nairobi? My Nairobi is a place of insecurity. My eastleigh is a dusty and dirty place.
The night life is horrible with Tusker drinking dudes and babes, qaat munching somalis...If you want to enjoy a night out visit Mombasa;

Actually Voltage is absolutely spot on. That's exactly what I experienced in Nairobi. Just a dirty, gloomy crime-ridden city.

I too witnessed a f-king gunfight less than 50 metres away at midday on a crowded street. Wtf. Wallahi it was real eye-opener.

It is not safe at all and AW is talking about partying up lol.

Mombasa..malindi...other coastal muslim towns >>>>>>>>>

Lamagodle,

Dikri at masjidka cabdallah iyo cawarere

DAF,

AMAZON iyo Al Kalab are animals. I like to hear the sounds of normality: birds chirping, car horns, children playing not the sounds of 120mm mortars, artillery, gunfire, and Indocaade's crew testing their transitori at 3pm each day.

Patriot,

Nairobi is an awesome city full of things to do. Unless you go slumming in Eastleigh or Pangani, you won't see the ghetto being described by Voltage and Lamagodle.

Nothing beats a weekend in Nairobi after a grueling 10 days in Azania.

Ulterior,

Gungfights are seldom unlike in Somalia where gunfire is the national anthem  The Kenyattis are a civilized people who resolve their conflicts quickly.
