Who said we should support Egypt against Ethiopia ?
We're getting our electricity from Ethiopia , I believe it is going to be hydro-electric , so basically what's good for Ethiopia is also good for us

Who said we should support Egypt against Ethiopia ?
We're getting our electricity from Ethiopia , I believe it is going to be hydro-electric , so basically what's good for Ethiopia is also good for us

I didn't say we should, just highlighted how important our region is to some arabs. In regards of the nile problems, the egyptians and the ethiopians are the same to me

No Somali leader will have the balls to leave the Arab League, nor do I think it's in our interests (currently). For what ever its worth, the AL is still a major donor and a source of revenue for the Somali government, quite frankly Somalia is not in a position to make such risky moves as only Somalia will lose.

The Arab league is a useless organisation. What do Somalis expect from the Arab leage? It never has done shit for for any league member. However if Somalia would leave the Arab league what would we gain from it? We certainly have not gained anything being in it but what would we gain from it? It would be a stupid political move to leave the Arab league and it would be like kicking a stone. Stupid.

The article however claims that Sri Lanka received more assistance from the Arab league than Somalia. if this is true Somalia should bring this up . Are they not in the league.

The same TFG that destroyed the ICU court union with Ethiopia and America. Two ardent enemies of Somalia are working hard to build the TFG. The PLO relies on the Arab league. The TFG relies on the USA and other western powers. the ICU would have been in a perfect position to demand assistance from the Arabs. The TFG however does not.
