As I have said before, this entire project is a hoax I suspect it is a deal between Faroole administration and a Oil company to deceive people, Faroole want to make political gains and therefor needs something to bargain with(potential oil resources would do the trick) and the Oil company want to sell more shares and make money from shares sold, If you do a background check on the company itself you will find out exactly what I'm referring to.

There is oil in the region, it was found by a company working for the former Siyaad Barre government, and the oil was in Sool region, with a tiny bit stretching into Nugaal, however this region is not part of Puntland, its entirely part of Khaatumo which is partially occupied by break away Somaliland.
Do you even know how the extraction of wells work idiot?

Who the fuck builds entire oil rigs costing millions, involving several serious companies who are already active and successful in other promising areas in the world just to deceive for political points with retarded somalis in the south? Btw Conoco set up camp in Nugaal not Sool, stop making up shit to make yourself feel better. The fact that mjs have oil will always sting for you, it's the burning feeling that makes haters die slow, you better get to grips with it before you kill yourself.

War waxaan waa iska daanyeer.
cinque, the jig is up. we've been figured out by the genius that is adali. the entire project was a hoax, faroole and his sons own 50% of the "oil" company doing the so called drilling and the pics from jan were done using a green screen.

adali,
you're absolutely right. unlike jubbaland, puntland has nothing to offer the world. it doesn't have any resources to speak of so no sane individual would ever waste their time on that godforsaken piece of land. keep on telling people the truth my brother.

kenya start this project before 8 years and now they find oil same goes to kurdastan iraaq thats for your claiming is hoax im not surprise its coming from typical hater

second you mention puntland sool lands been occupied ,do you see qaldaan flags in taleex answer is NO we are here and last time we karbash their ass for record and anyone mis with our lands and for the oil in sool thats puntlander to judge wither to use it or not same thing in daroor iyo mudug iyo nugaal etc.
Brother I know the English language is difficult for you to comprehend, but let me say again, there is always possibility for oil being present in Puntland, there just hasn't been any explorations in the past, the place where oil was discovered was Sool and a small part in Nurgaal, there were multiple wells dug in that area and the potential for commercially viable oil production is very high. this is the reality of Khaatumo, not Puntland.

What Faroole has done, is smuggle in equipment and set up a very old Oil rig in collaboration with a small company, it impressed the Media and those not aware of how the industry works, and of course it was meant to influence the backward politics of Somalia, the entire thing is a hoax in process, but the fact that oil could be there is not something anyone can determine without going through the exploration process again and again....etc. What we know though is Khaatumo has very high potential of Oil thanks to the Siyaad Barre Government and the contractor working for the government, extraction was put on hold though.

Gemini Lol, yes it is a hoax, not really a brilliant one but it certainly reflected well on the Garowe meetings which resulted in the Roadmap. By the way in the world of politics lies, deceit etc is very normal, what I am saying is the entire Oil saga in Puntland is stinking of lies, now I have no idea what the lies are for it is just my theory it is to influence Somali politics, what is a fact though is the Oil exploration(s) in Puntland aren't conventional at all.
