There are articles dedicated to how to survive as a homeless. If you're focused, it's manageable.

Acuudu bilaah, it is better that we share our problems. This kind of attitude makes people to suffer alone, so many people went mental. It is good to share your problems big or little. He would have to do about it certainly, but we are there for him for moral support.

toughen up odes not work in the West most of the time, here in the West. May be a pat at the back is better.
It is tough world, much more tougher than the harsh somali environment, because over there we have parents, tol and we are in our home country.
I see so many Somalis falling into all sort of things. I stop and talk to whenever I see a Somali person sitting on a bench talking to himself, and ask which clan they belong to, so I would find someone to help them( if I can't). But I also realise that there are no tolnimo anymore in the West, people are haasid. But my somallinimo has not died yet.

I want people to be there for me and them be there for me.....

When you have the odds stacked against you, no amount of individualism helps you get on your footing. You need to start somewhere. For xiimaaya, He needs:

A- Gas in his car to keep looking for work or keep the one he has.
B- He needs food to have the energy to work.
C- He needs somewhere to stay to clean up.

If he goes to the Mosque and asks for temporary help on Friday, am sure someone will help him temporarily. He is young and able bodied, so he won't be a burden if he doesn't have bad habits like Alcohol and drugs.
