Colonel & Twist provided the best answer.daiman wrote:Suppose you want to be with someone but suspect or even know that the person converts to Islam to be with you, but you want to stay with that person until that feelings fades....and you intend to hide him from your closest family. But meanwhile you are looking for someone who you feel that your family (and the society) would approve of. Is this haraam? is it like living in a sin?
serious answer please.

I must admit that it is my ultimate aim

Re: How haraam is this?
A good friend of mine is a black american, agnostic and party head but lakinse has a child with a Somali chick. They are not together no more but his mom and the girls mom are both religious, one is Southern Baptist and ofcourse her mom is Muslim. The problem is his mom wants to baptize the child and raise her as christian, and The Somali grandma is strongly oppose to that and wants to raise the child as Muslim.
My point is, think about ur future children because they might end up gaalo and that should be a scary thought.

They might end up gaalo whether or not you shack up with one.Advo wrote:A good friend of mine is a black american, agnostic and party head but lakinse has a child with a Somali chick. Every on of us can end up gaalo (god forbid), there's a greater chance using probability that if one of the parents is a non-believer, he or she might influence the children.Alphanumeric wrote:They might end up gaalo whether or not you shack up with one.Advo wrote:A good friend of mine is a black american, agnostic and party head but lakinse has a child with a Somali chick. Specially when the father is gaal, which in this case is the case.Advo wrote:Every on of us can end up gaalo (god forbid), there's a greater chance using probability that if one of the parents is a non-believer, he or she might influence the children.Alphanumeric wrote:They might end up gaalo whether or not you shack up with one.Advo wrote:A good friend of mine is a black american, agnostic and party head but lakinse has a child with a Somali chick. And you provided a good example, Advo.

Re: How haraam is this?
Love y'all....I really understand your points and that is why I am here because I feel I am somehow slipping into shaytaan ways....i think what In am trying to say is that 'how to have a b/f in a halaal way', because I do not want to have children, but also not with a non-Somali. But I am kind of trapped with this person.
I do not date gaalo or even harldy date, I am kinda od old fashioned....and sometimes surprise myself writing this kind of questions here in snet. But the thing is is this guy and i worked together and he helped me a lot in the past and he does not leave me alone and i find myself loving him, but deep down i feel I do not want to live with a non-somali for that long. Just want to be with him for a year or so then divorce him. And this is what makes me feel itchy because my intention is wrong so the marriage would not be valid, therefore haraam. so do not know what to do.
