What does that video have to with this?AgentOfChaos wrote:First I see "From Qardho with Love" and now this, it almost feels like there is "who is more civilized contest" going on.
A lot actually if you know how to read between the lines.Buckshot wrote:What does that video have to with this?AgentOfChaos wrote:First I see "From Qardho with Love" and now this, it almost feels like there is "who is more civilized contest" going on.

The guy in that video who was just making ends meet isn't in question, but on the other hand the interviewer's questions, and how a "non-puntlander" making a living in Puntland ended up being a topic in Puntland-Forum is another thing, not to mention how few hours later we see this topic in S/land-forum.Buckshot wrote:AOC, He came from a war zone to a peaceful area where people actually helped him settle in and gave him work if you listened carefully, I know what you're getting at it but it's not what it seems.
Ugaas Elite, it's about time that you give up on the Somaliweyne dream. No tribe wants to be ruled by another and it seems that the latest project (Alshabab) that could successfully bring about 'Somali unity' is in deep trouble. I'm no fan of Azania however I must jump on that bandwagon (or the Ras Kambuni one) in order for my tribe to secure the Jubbas.eliteSomali wrote:diinta af uun ba ka haysanaa. hadii diin lagu dhaqmi lahaa somalia sidaan may ahaateen maanta.ManD333q wrote:somalidu pretend to be religious and all that but when it comes to matters like this they would rather kill their child

If he was interviewed because of the gabay, the interviewer would have asked only gabay related questions instead of asking "where are you from?" right off the bat. I must admit though, that was pretty epic gabay.Buckshot wrote:AOC, you do know the video was posted because of the gabay right? He's very good at it and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't of been interviewed if he didn't have that talent.
Now THAT'S the Somalis I know.Buckshot wrote:AOC, I think it's pretty common in an interview to introduce yourself when no one knows who the hell you are. We got to know his story and that made the video better imo.
ps. The gabay he was performing was from the south and he's in Bari so I think as viewers maybe not us but older Somali viewers would like to know where he's from. This is Somalia bro not Canada or the USA, if you speak a dialect that's not native to the area then people will ask you who the hell you are.
