This road will speed up the migration to Hargeisa, clever move by saciid iyo tolkees

not many people understand the politics of roads and its strategic implications during war time and the economics benefit during peace time

it seems the garxajis have learned from past

rightwing, why are isaaq vacating so much land and moving to hargeisa, even reer burco are moving to hargeisa
its a matter of time before you lot have property rights issues and i wouldn`t be surprised when the classic words of the south start appearing "unuka leh"

rightwing, kenya is witnessing Real estate bubble coupled with unresolved political crisis's and Unreported, unrecorded economic activity on the part property less peasants of the slums. as you can say kenya is facing massive challenges and the property prices and food prices will culminate in unmanageable scenararious

what i want to say is when you have highly urbanized and great movement of people from the hinterland to the cities. what you are creating is unintended classs war which will lead to political war and it will have tribal undertone in the case of africa just look how higly tribalized kenyans are today.

if am not wrong some isaxaaq guy made unuka leh statement right

It is not about immigration to Hargeysa it is about advancing the various Garhajis deegaans that are on strategic routes economically. Basically south, east and north east of Hargeysa checkpoints will all be in Garhajis land, meelaha Hargeysa laga soo gaalo. So it is good in the long-term if we have those two other roads paved Wadada Cad and the Hargeysa, Oodweyne and Burco one.

if its for economic purposes then its highly valuable strategy
basically you control the imports from berbera and livestock from hawd and you control the transportation business to burco, sool, and bossasso
this strategy reminds me of turkish ottoman startegy against byzantines in Constantinople
Image

notice how the turks have surrounded Byzantium capital from the north, east and west.
remember the ottomans control all the supply lines to the city which saw the city being slowly strangled
basicly with this startegy the garxajis can cause inflation scarcity of food and make somaliland governments submit to their will by imposing sanctions with out firing a shot and if it comes to war, the battle is won before it even starts

saciid do you have chinese grand mother who thougt you about peacefull rise and iranian grand mother who told you about peaceful nuclear development strategy

It is for economic purpose, no doubt Hargeysa will be in our mercy with those two roads paved economically. lol@ Chinese and Iranian grandmothers, sometimes i think i would have made a great commander for Somaliland army as i expertised the military and economic importance of the different areas in the land. For the sake of a reply lets say Hargeysa is economically cut down by a opponent through the three roads previously shown in the map, with the roads leading to the north east, south and strategic east toward Odweyne and Burco blocked. One of the opponent will be limited to the west although they might have access to other areas but it will not be wise to attempt to transport weaponry through the Dhubato paved road as it is controlled by a rival opponent the same one who control the south and east checkpoints. Now the wars of the sea, this where Maydh,Sanaag with a port and airport comes in as it can act as the strait of hormuz in times of war as there is no clan east of one of the opponents in the coast apart from Warsangeli. Maydh can serve as the strait of hormuz by enforcing economic blockade on any oil ships or cargo ship carrying weapons heading towards the west or going to the east while launching missiles greater than the range of Hizbullah of Lebanon's Iranian missiles into opponent areas from the warships based in the coast. The port can serve as a base where weapons destined for the allies can be docked from and taken by plane to the various destinations of the allies. So yh it is economically beneficial in peace times and also a advantage in warfare times.
