There are molasses, fruit-based shishas, and other types that I forget. Had the chance to smoke a bit some years ago, but passed it up. I don't think anyone smokes for the nicotine. The addiction's just an unintended result.Tuushi wrote:I wasnt clear in my question.Alphanumeric wrote:They are essentially the same, in that you're smoking tobacco. Cigarettes may have other additives, so some may say they are more harmful. It's the same debate between cigars vs cigarettes vs pipes. Oh, btw, that doesn't include tobacco-less shisha.
I meant in social sense. It seems like cigarettes smokers are less demonized.
Ps.What is the point of tobacco less shisha? No nicotine sounds not worth it.
Daadi.I see what u mean.
Socially? I have no idea. To me, they're the same, but I can't speak for others. I guess it may be because shisha smoking is a social scenario, where more than just smoking might happen? And women sitting around with men is less acceptable than them smoking alone? I unno. I think tobacco's haraam no matter how you try and spin it. It has very obvious and well documented negative effects to the body. Not to mention the addiction. Heck, I'm more lenient of cannabis than I am of tobacco
