let's be honest man what an habashi or an kikuyu gonna contribute for our society except wonder around the street barefoot and no roof over his head,,,both ethiopia and kenya would love to send all thier poors to somalia and make them our responsibility, thier are already 100's of thousands of them all over somalia and they don't contribute jack to our economy or our society.

whereas the asians, persians, arabs, turks and ect they will most likely be well prepared before they come to somalia and they will contribute in a good way, some will come with large investments, some will come with projects, there are the intelects e.g. doctors, engineers, skilled labour and many more.

and last but not least these people tend to contribute more to society simply because of their higher standard of living.

Firstly, we have a long history with ethi/ken.
Secondly, they have highly educated populations
Thirdly, we will have economic leverage over them, especially when they`re depending on remittances from their Somali based workers.
Forthly,we will invest heavily in the Somali inhabited regions of ethi/ken.

we will systematically subordinate their economies and reincorporate nfd/ogaden into Somalia economy.

sxb im not self hating,,,but ok i might have overdone it with 40%,,,but the truth of the matter is somalia has to open its doors for overseas investors , scholars, skilled labour and business people if it wants to see rapid progress in infrastructure, healthcare and overall development during this century.

its a reality.

Somalia has more than enough skilled people at home and abroad.
What is needed is a stable government and strategic planning.

Major projects must be undertaken.
I want to propose "The Great Ocean Road", from ras kamboni in the south, to seyla in the north.
Along the length of the road there will be major container ports in Kismayo, Mogdishu, Eyl, Berbera.
Oil/gas exporting terminals, railways, airports, naval/coast guard bases, oil/chemical refineries, dozens of fishing/shrimping towns, holiday resorts etc.
I reckon the coast and territorial waters of Somalia could easily support 5-7 million people.
