I think I understand what happened. It seems he may have found himself floating in Conservative thought while acting as the Liberal leader. He probably looked at the numbers and realized it just doesn't work and is going to jump ship before it sinks.
There's rumors that the cancellation costs of the construction of two power plants in Mississauga and Oakville would have cost $600 million, rather than the earlier government released $45 million figure. A scandal seems to be brewing.

But I am not a pessimist. He's going federal me thinks.

Yeah, just read that. Seems insane a cancellation cost would be that high.

Lol @ Going fed. Look at Ontario's numbers, man. Canada is a conservative nation right now. That ain't happening.

The evils of big business my friend. If they are allegedly making the govt' pay such an amount, we can clearly see how powerful these guys really are.

I must say I feel a bit silly. During the summer, I asked him via email to his riding office to consider pushing a separatist/autonomous agenda. And now this happens. Clearly his idiot intern/secretary didn't forward him the message :|

What could have been...

It may be conservative, but Canadians will fall for McGuinty's charisma. 8-)

Bariis, I will give him a Somali woman and he will give me an Irish woman.

I just came home and found this in my mailbox. He gave us his goodbye present. What timing, huh? I shall frame it and put it on my desk shelf. I will never cash it. It might not be much, nor do I really need it but its the thought that counts.
