Yes there was Tigre, the prophet even could speak few words of tigre according to hadiths, Tigre was known as early as 2500 b.c. If you mean Tigray then its different story, those ethiopians even tried to mimick our qabil name to try to belong to the same ancestory as us. shame. its like Bantu somali calling themselves Darood or haiwya. In Ethiopia they labelled themselves officially as Tigre and today claim the only difference between them and the eritrean Tigre is the religion, i wanted to break the monitor when i saw that. No Agew habesh bantu looking cockroach Tigrayan is linked to my people, i Really hate ethiopians habesh with their inferior mentality.bareento wrote:^^

Mocking his appearence is a form of cursing, we all know your intention and certainely allah swt knows best, how could this topic go from Bilal RA to qabil bashing in less than 10 posts is beyond me wallahi, what do you guys do when you wake up??? acuuzbillah min al daroodi/hawiya/isaaqi and then throw a dart in your room at the opposing qabil figure face, you waryaa's Need to Chill No forum in the whole net have a section for qabil bashing, even though its entertaining for some but these days it has no boundry even the sahaba are a target and not spared. lolBlackRain wrote:Cursing the companion? when? Amazing what qabil bashing leads to.
Re: Bilal(asxabi; companion of the Prophet(scw)was SOMALI
What you're writing is quite hypocritical though, what about the Sahaba that called Bilal, ''The son of a black mother'', was that a joke? was the sahaba being descriptive?.... No he wasn't, he was disrespecting a fellow Sahaaba based on the color of his skin. Is god going to punish this Sahaba for disrespecting another Sahaba? If not.. then why would god punish for example blackrain for calling Bilaal black?MidriGeez wrote:

I can see your point in attacking Tigre or Tigray as u call them (by the way Tigray is the name of the region not etnicity),MidriGeez wrote:Yes there was Tigre, the prophet even could speak few words of tigre according to hadiths, Tigre was known as early as 2500 b.c. Intention is different, God will punish you for your intention more. The sahaba are humans and allah would deal with them if they did wrong, the question is how could you even compare our generation to the best muslim generation in the sahaba, even if what you saying is true which i doubt the authencity of it you are looking at a drop of sin in an ocean of hassanat.MeyleSamaale wrote:What you're writing is quite hypocritical though, what about the Sahaba that called Bilal, ''The son of a black mother'', was that a joke? was the sahaba being descriptive?.... I am not like the others, maybe the others also hide this fact at least i am honest. We are very secretive people to the point we don't even say our Sub clans easily, how do you expect an eritrean to tell you what he feels about more personal feelings, its hard to gain eritrean trust but once you got it its a lifelong membership till you break it again. no eritrean is a fan of agew associated Qabils this i can entrust you with. Bantu is a figure of speech just to spice up the convo i really don't have problems with them.bareento wrote:I can see your point in attacking Tigre or Tigray as u call them (by the way Tigray is the name of the region not etnicity),MidriGeez wrote:Yes there was Tigre, the prophet even could speak few words of tigre according to hadiths, Tigre was known as early as 2500 b.c. Midrigeez,
How did you come to the conclusion that Sayyidna Bilal {r.a} was either Oromo or Somali?

R u refering to me?
@Mid..bro, honestly does ethiopia have more Christian or Muslims? Same question for Eritrea? Plus tell me abt the qabiil wth the best looking females? Is it the Rashidi? Or the Tigre?
Re: Bilal(asxabi; companion of the Prophet(scw)was SOMALI
Sahaba Narrations. Bilal among others was acquired as a slave when the king of the habesh in ethiopia conquered new land in the south, and only people/qabil at that time to come under the control of the ethiopians were the dir somali, his people beliefs also matches what somali believed pre islamic times which is animism. But i read some of the sahaba narration (in arabic) and picked up hints from here and there. alot of little facts makes me almost sure he was somali more than oromo because according to Historic facts oromo were outside the boundry of today ethiopia at that time.SunnyFlowerfreak wrote:Midrigeez,

I was just saying earlier today that Somalis claim everyone

Re: Bilal(asxabi; companion of the Prophet(scw)was SOMALI
There was never a somali slave , no record or document in Arabic or in English ever stated that a somali slave was seen any where any time in the wordl... so stop this shit. Besides Bilaal was a Christian and we know where in Africa Chritstainty was the religion during the 7th century.
