This niggas mistake was his bad treatment of fellow tribesmen, if you don't have the people's support you can't survive in Ogadenia son. The guy had no naxariis at all although his karbaash of a certain clan - which I shall not name - was delightful to say the least.

Overall another win for House OG Ibn Absame :win: verily this has been the year of many wins :steviej:

How do you intend to reach success with this type of mentality sxb? If you want your people freed from the shackles of a ruthless tyrant, how can you wish one to 'karbaash certain clan'?

Elite Somali read this article written by an pro ONLF ogaden it will give u some ideas how Colonel is feeling

The Losing Formula: Hate as a
Political Strategy

So, Ogaden intellectuals now think it is more important to check Isaaq ‘expansionism’ than to fight Ethiopian colonial occupation? Securing the borders of Aware and Dannood are more sacred than achieving freedom and justice? Subduing the Sheikhash is a victory to be celebrated with merriment? And we still wonder why we continue to be sub-humans whose purpose in life has shrunk to be mere hewers of wood and fetchers of water for cruel Tigrayan rulers? We still moan that we are Galeano’s “no-bodys”, owners of nothing, “running like rabbits, dying through life, screwed every which way?” We still do not know why rest, for us, is in our footloose feet, in trekking eternally? We still have no idea why we cannot own land; we cannot own state; we cannot administer; we cannot dream ambition? Or perhaps we feel warmed and relish the only houses we own today- the putrid refugee camps and dusty IDP settlements in the neighborhoods! What are we? W.E.B Dubois’s “lettered fools”? When and where does this appalling scholastic self-abasement end?

If John Ralston Saul, in “Voltaire’s Bastards”, thinks western civilization is in crisis because it is based on the concept of reason, he should know our society suffers from the opposite of reason, which is irrationality. We still haven’t enjoyed the virtues of reason, so we cannot see its limits and deficits - an indulgence, western philosophers can afford to ponder on. Clearly, the utterances of Ogaden intellectuals in the past months, of course as always with the exception of a silent minority, demonstrated that rationality is a scare commodity in our midst.

Children of a deficient culture

We, Somalis, are a strange race; a kinship nation. The religion of our cultural system is patronage, tribalism and cronyism and the political constructs we identify with are mere temples of this cult. We worship this religion of kinship. We acclaim injustice; we glamourize ignorance. We even beatify the devil, if the devil happens to be of the same lineage. We perfume the ugly political behind of criminals simply because they belong to our clan. We submit to the whims of puppet political witchdoctors, simply because we think their helping hand would advance our careers or bulge our pockets.

Dadkaaga dhinac ka raac, we say. It was a fad in the Revolution days, allegedly the favourite dictum of Jaalle Siyaad. It is an adage which expiates stupidity, sycophancy and cowardice, comfortably locating all these within the human urge for self-preservation. As a proverb, it could only have come from a deficient and miscalculating culture with an ingrained misunderstanding of the true drivers of human transformation. As a society, we are a relic of this culture, and embody and dramatize herd mentality, servility and disguise as the better part of wisdom, even explaining to comic levels the virtues in not challenging, explaining, and discussing dissenting ideas or simply narrating uncomfortable socio-political realities.

Hate as a rallying political agenda

Ogaden clan intellectuals who think the short-cut for the prized Ogaden hegemony in Somali Regional State of Ethiopia is to rally behind Abdil Iley’s stinking clan wars against fellow Somalis are ardent followers of this religion of servility and sinful orthodoxy. They are what Dr. Syed Hussien Atlas, the impressive Malay Sociologist, classifies as “badly functioning intellectuals” who “give bad diagnoses of perceived problems” and “are not capable of forming an opinion beyond what is obvious to most people.” Tolkaaga dhinac ka raac is the younger sibling of this domineering and deficient dadkaaga dhinac ka raac injunction.

Few weeks ago, Abdi Iley’s Liyu Police attacked the people of Gaashaamo. Gaashamo was merely a new killing field for the depraved militia, who in the past have attacked Dhulbahante in Buuhoodle, Aba-Yonis in Garloogube, Abaskul in Jigjiga, the Geri and Hawiye in Babile, Mareexaan in Lasa Ano, Sheikhash in Rasso, to name but few. But the biggest recipient of Liyu Police brutality, by far, remains to be the Ogaden clan. This community is killed every day. Gunagado was awash with the blood of innocent civilians just a month ago. In fact, what makes their killing different than the rest is that it is considered to be normal. People seem to have normalized to the notion that, because the enemy is so powerful, victims who resist oppression have only themselves to blame for the punishments they suffer.

The Gaashamo massacre was not an Ogadeni attack on Isaaq communities. But Iley wanted it to look like that, to milk badly-needed political mileage from thoughtless members of the Ogaden clan. It is a strategy that, sadly, seems to have worked. There is a disturbing tendency, among Ogaden clan intellectuals, of taking Abdi Iley’s clan posturing as real and endorsing his attacks against other clans as something that he should be lauded for. This is pathetic and disheartening. Is there anyone who inflicted more pain on the Ogaden clan than Abdi Iley and his master Meles Zenawi? What is the clan composition of inmates in Jeel-Ogadeen? Who makes up 99% of the refugees running away from Somali Region of Ethiopia to neighboring countries?

Who is the enemy?

The existential question is why the perennial feud between neighboring brotherly clans is allowed to be of significance in our context? What is wrong if the Isaaqs come and settle in Degahbour and beyond? Is land really an issue in the sparsely populated Hawd? Yes, land is identity. It is history. Whether rightfully yours or wrongly acquired, it seeps into your blood and psyche. It becomes part of you. Look at Israel. I know that. But who are we? Who are Isaaqs? Are we not the same people? Are our homes not housing a mother from Gaashamo and a father from Yoocaale? Are we not cousins and nephews? Why do we set boundaries where none should exist! Where none exists indeed!

Why do we make the Isaaqs, or any other clan, an enemy? Because Abdi Iley’s equivalents on the other side of the fence, by way of foolish Suldaans and irresponsible extremist so called Somalilanders, make the Liyu Police attack look like a clan war against them? Because some politician who wants to play dirty skirt to Zenawi in Hargeisa wants to drag the ONLF name into this? Do we not have the ability and capacity to deal with multi-layered challenges like these ones? Do we lack the intellect to know that hate cannot win? Or that hate cannot be the rallying refrain for people who think they are victims of Ethiopian hate politics? If Iley and Zenawi are fanning hate as a political strategy, it is because they are desperate. History will not forgive Ogaden intellectuals who are trying to advance political goals on the ladder of hate and vitriol against fellow Somalis. In the older days, men of religion were tasked with ‘nabaadino-xidh’ for the attacking clan fighters when the clan is embarking on camel raids. Their modern-day equivalents are clan intellectuals who are serving the divide-and-rule scheme of Zenawi by promoting hate against other Somali clans and giving intellectual cover to stooges of colonialists. It is our duty to fight these poisonous weeds.

Fighting the right war

The chief promoters of this hate politics are mainly diaspora intellectuals. Like all immigrant populations, they remain glued to old times, and thinking of the yore. Time has frozen for them and they simply do not realize that realities and priorities in the lands they have left behind have simply evolved. They should wake up.

We should get our prognosis and priorities right. The enemy is clear. It is not Isaaq. It is not Sheekash or other fellow Somali clans. These are brothers. These are sisters. These are fellow victims. The enemy is the Tigrayan minority rulers in Ethiopia, who are not enemies to a particular clan, but to the whole Somali race, as they strive to maintain their grip on the politics of the Horn, which must come at the expense of the demise of the Somali race.

Securing phantom clan borders is not the priority. It is not even a problem. The problem is that we have no voice, no rights, and no freedom, as the Somali people in Ethiopia. The problem is marauding tribal colonialists want us to submit to their whims and arbitrary rule. Even going to the extreme measure of killing political opponents in foreign lands! Our struggle must be based on the sacrosanct values of freedom and justice and not on vile clan animosity and vengeance.

We should never normalize to the debilitating feeling that the enemy is so powerful, so invincible, and therefore we must re-adjust, downwards, our ambitions. We are human beings; we have the right to ask for a life without oppression, without dictation, without detention. We should not fear death if we are genuine about our love for freedom. When you mate furiously, you budget for pregnancy. Did we not know that we cannot win freedom if we do not prepare ourselves for sacrifices? Do we not realize that fear is the prelude to acceptance of slavery? We should not allow ourselves to be intimidated by fretful Tigrayan rulers. The more they go into newer depraved tactics of inciting inter-clan wars and assassination of opponents, the more we know they are, indeed, afraid. Let us remain focused and fight the right war. We cannot always pick the dead agenda the enemy sets for us, scavenger-like!

Politics end when innocent shacabs are indiscriminately massacred bruh. Don't let clan politcs cloud your judgement and don't trade qabyaalad and unconditional loyalty to your clan with your morals and your diin.

It's not about somalinimo anymore sxb. I don't know if most of you even think before you type or just strike the keyboard and submit whatever fuckery is written on there. Why should you advocate for the killing of other muslims? If we don't agree on clan politics, we should at least agree on the religion part. The whole "I want my clan to prosper while others suffer" is backward thinking bruh. Don't lose yourself in this BS. hadaad qabiila kala caayso ama qabiila kale gumaadkooda aad ku faraxdo, ogaden waxaad u tartay malaha waxaad ka gooysayna malaha.
