Abdiweli pissed his pants in Bosaaso after Halyeey Faroole sent out local forces to apprehend him. he was saved from being arrested by his CM kin who came from Galkacyo.

Faroole ain't quitting any time soon. He has the resources, standing and power to keep the crown.

The irony in all this is that Cabdiweli who was a rabid Puntland advocate as PM is facing more pressure and problems there than in Xamar.

rabshoole, politicians run countries, economists work for governments and corporations. Even in economics, Farole has a life long career in finance, etc. According to a classmate of his, he had Ms in economics B4 the civil war and worked as a a banker. In my opinion, driving a cab to make ends meet temporarily is strength than weakness.

In my opinion, Farole's weak point is not about qualification but arrogance little respect for clan chiefs.

That and a lot more. Lets be honest with ourselves here for a moment, Gaas may not be my first choice, IlkaJir oo kale would make a more suitable candidate, probably one of few most respected figure in Puntland. However I'm not going to discredit Faroole for his accomplishments thus far, he has been done well in his presidency term. But his aviodance in Galkacyo, while simultaneously exceeding the development in Garoowe just shows his true colors.

Abdiweli went through most of Puntland and the number of people that turned out on the streets to show their support for him show how much they love him. I agree that Faroole has made many developments in Garowe and his "dictatorship" where he voices his opinion on everything but I don't support him. What I cannot understand is that he isn't the President of Garowe and Eyl but of all of Puntland. Go to Galkacyo, Bosaso, Qardho and gain back all are lost territories instead of sitting in Garowe.

Puntland has prospered under Mudane Faroole, I am not for a change of leadership as it is tough political and economical times in Somalia today. We need to keep our tough guy Faroole to deal with the tough times ahead. Abdiweli needs to take the back-seat and chill for the next 5 years.

I agree with you Faroole is a stern, frugal politician and a strong man politician, but on the other hand Abdiweli is a well-educated diplomat who is in his prime. I think Abdiweli has all the qualities Puntland needs at the moment he's already been through the fire as well.
