It's not like it's in his hands. At the end of the day the international community grants recognitions but if somaliland wants that they must bring incentives to the table. Recognitions don't just happen. What does the international community get in return? That's the the million dollar question.greenday wrote:Sounds like he might be alright with SL getting independence, you guys might not have to wait long.
Tone is a literary technique that is a part of composition, which encompasses the attitudes toward the subject and toward the audience implied in a literary work.
The international community doesn't really care and are very indifferent the recognition of Somaliland if Mogadishu agrees tomorrow to go back to status pre first of July 1960 and dissolve the Union. The European union and the United states said the following about Somaliland and Somalia casemetamorphosis wrote:It's not like it's in his hands. Another time she was quoted saying the followingshe had raised the issue with AU Chairperson Alpha Oumar Konare, who seemed to be placing unrealistic conditions for addressing the Somaliland issue. The first was that Somaliland negotiate with the government in Mogadishu, either the TFG or its successor, regarding its independence, and the second was that there be a regional consensus on Somaliland’s status, neither of which are likely to happen or result in any clear decisions.
The European union agreed that Somalia and Somaliland should talk so that they clarify their future relations thats the stance of the European union. The European union already gives bilateral aid to Somaliland UK Denmark and Sweden. But the EU believes in order to reach a settlement the 2 sides should talk. And they wrote paragraph six of the London conference very diplomatic. The talks already started the international community is making sure the talks don't fail. The Europeans those from the free wold they will not be surprised if Sl is recognized by the Bantu african union. They will most likely just accept what ever the bantu do the Somaliland politicians understood that the Bantus dont have a brain that clearly thinks for Africa and that Brussels thinks for Africa. There were a few african leaders like paul kagame alpha former south african president and former senegalese president who opened the debate of Somaliland at the African union but the pig Hosni Mubarak and Omar al bashir they threatened the African bantu union. That if Somaliland president daahir rayaale kahin is allowed to address the african union they will suspend their membership 2007. So plans changed direct talks with Somalia now that Somalia has some form of governance and the Europeans support that matter infact they will mediateRemarking on the issue of Somaliland's international recognition, Dr.Frazer stated that the United States is encouraging the African Union to make headway on this issue, and is following the process closely.

He can ask for a referendum, he can lobby for them and that wont be hard now that the FM is from SL. There is a very good chance of them getting independence with a referendum.Vengeance wrote:greenday wrote:Sounds like he might be alright with SL getting independence, you guys might not have to wait long.
Who cares what he is O.K with and what he is not O.K with? He can't make the decision by himself. It is up to the Somali people to decide whether or not they want to give Somaliland a referendum. The Somali people, not some uneducated, corrupted cockroach head who brought votes to occupy the top seat.
Our nation was doomed the day we elected this un-patriotic crack head so-call president. He should not be addressing Somaliland. The only time he should talk to Somaliland is when they are ready to come to the table and stop throwing temper tantrums like a little girl on her menstrual cycle.
