What the deal with the SNM/USC relationship

It was just "enemy of my enemy is my friend" kind of a relationship, neither of them wanted anything from each other except their mutual enemy gone.

Now that makes a lot of sense. It just a damn shame cooperation between the two groups for rule couldn't have gone down. I doubt Aidiid wanted anarchy, he should have made a greater push for conciliation between snm and usc. I am a full supporter of siyaad barre's former regime, but if aidiid was going to throw down a legitimate goverment, what was wrong with that.

Well they overthrow something, and gave the people nothing. As for now my main problem is with the title of the thread itself "Was aidiid on SNM's ceeb or something?" Speaking ill of the dead is not wise.
