Athletics is an individual sport not a team sport like football where it make financial sense to play for the bigger nations where you can go to world cups and European championships. If he was to run for Somaliland now ( assuming recognition is secured ) he'd be able to run in the Rio Olympics 2014 and all the prestigious athletics grand prix around Europe. He's a household name now regardless who he represents so why not represent your motherland.

If the recognition comes on time in 2016. I agree he should represent his motherland. I know I would :up:
