So it wasn't Maxamed Siyaad Barre who ruled the country for 21 years? Even before the rebel movements, the country was already going down hill.


So if it wasn't him, who was it? I mean.. if you rule the country as a dictator, you're responsible for everything that happened during those 21 years and you're responsible for the civil war.

Siad Barre is dead its for us to pick up the pieces. He did put enmity in Somalis hearts but its for the future generations to erase it.

But the topic is not about Somali politics but Ethiopian airlines and that country's unprecedented recent GDP growth. It is not about Somali tribal politics but economics..
