I've only achieved one major goal this year, some are continuous.. But InshaaAllah 2013 watch this space!!

Survived another insane year without losing all my hair.
Nailed a highly competitive and sought after interview at a prestige institution in California.
Bought a newer car (2010 hybrid prius that looks like a blind person designed it, but gets me awesome mileage).
Traveled across the country to meet my fiancee's parents.
Committed to an organic diet and strived to cut back on my consumption of processed foods.
Finally finished watching 'Lost' and 'Battlestar Galactica'.
Tried calamari and clams.
Quit caffeine and committed to a paleo lifestyle.

Hmm....

1. Learned survival skills and adapted to life in the wild.

2. Learned an assortment of new culinary dishes and how to cook on a burjiko.

3. Traveled across hellholes and ate food @ the most unhygienic roadside stalls that would have made me sick in the past.

4. Realized I needed a new career change & started working on a business plan.

5. Helped in getting a friend on the ballot for MP in Kenya and several others into the new regime in Somalia.

6. Started writing memoirs of my qabiil and discovering so many interesting facts.

This yr has almost ended and many of us had targets and expectations in the beginning of this year. what have you achieved? missed? pending? was there any targets you were hoping to achieve which you didn't?

Despite all the things that happened in my life this year, I'm still here and that's good enough for me, hell I would even call it an achievement.
