The republic, interesting theory , but i was not aware that cushtic languages themselves are a sprachbund or langauge area?
The only papers i came across referred to an Ethiopian sprachbund which included both the semetic and cuchtic langauges.

There was also the common agreement by most linguists that the inclusion of Omotic langauges with Cushtic was a mistake and that the differences are greater than the similarities, and there was the controversy regarding Beja, but as far as i know there is a consensus that Oromo, Sidama , Afar/saho and Somali languages are related the same way romance languages or germanic languages are related.

Iska dhig the bottle. Rendille has never lived within the borders of Somalia so how can Rendille be part of Dir who came to southern Somalia maybe 300 years ago? This is slander sxb, waa edeb daro waxaad wadid Cabdiwahaabow.

Meyle.

Rerdiinle traditional land puts them in NFD and other areas bordered by Somalis. As for your antiIrirism, its been noted.

Rabshoole,

I said they are one of the many lost sons of Dir. You know the story of the lost sons. Odeey Dir only made one mistake which we continue to pay for.

You must be talking about the tall tales of Shiekh hawiye iyo Shiekh Dir, where shiekh hawiye said to his older brother Dir, ilaahay haku sahalo 114 caruur, in return Dir said adiguna ilahay lix caruur haku sahalo, ka dibna Sh. Hawiye felt he was short changed, and in response, said out of all your kids, ilaahay afar uun muslim haka dhigo inta kale wey gaalowen, and that is why loo yidhi lixdi hawiye iyo Afarti Direed, That shidh is a myth.
