It depends on your hair texture really.. I achieved my waves with magnetic rollers, I left them on for hours without sitting underneath a dryer..
I haven't straightened my hair in over a year but will do tomorrow for a wedding InshaaAllah.

I wonder how many of you have a big forhead like mine. I am to self conscious about my forehead to wear the pull back looks you guys are sharing. *sigh* Me and my insecurities. :(

IF I did wear my hair out to a special event I would wear a headpiece or headband for more coverage and to keep my hair in place.

I Like these styles.

Many of these might be to fantasy and large to wear at someone else's wedding. It might distract and draw attention a way from the bride. So a smaller head band is better. Or dark colored headband to blend in with the hair

In the beginning of the post I said

Edit: I didn't know what a fasinators was. Googled it. I think it's a head piece as well

Some of those head pieces are really pretty @ simplySerene.. I want one..
Even though I don't have a large forehead I wouldn't wear a high bun to a wedding.. Only because that's the hairstyle I always wear @ home..

I don't own one either, but I want one too. I probably won't get one right now. I don't go to special events. I have my hair in a bun constantly. The look I would go for is a wavy hair down look with a black or burgundy headpiece or head band
