they should, you are right. I heard there is a military base in Galmudug named after him though. There needs to be a movement to have some neighborhoods named after him and have a big monument erected for him. its unacceptable.

but i did see a picture in xamar, in what I think was a government building, where Aden Adde and Muhammad Farah Aidid's picture was there on the wall and the current PM was in that building looking at the pictures.

That will come with the influx of diaspora members going back to Mogadishu and Somalilanders who go there for business projects , these ideas will be shared. in hargeisa every street is named after an SNM mujahid or after Sheikh bashir farah omaar the independence SNL fighters or the Imam Axmed him self and other heroes. However, the former regime and successive regimes haven't erected anything for the founding father of Konfuria, Halyeey Cabdullahi Ciise Maxamud but named the airport in Xamar after Aden Caade. His achievements to free Konfuria can not be understated but the MSB regime worked hard to undermine him and his legacy.

That is good to hear but yes there should be a memorial built for him. The thought of a monument built for Caydiid is already giving some of the haters high blood
pressure. Abdullahi Ise AUN was not alone in being undermined by the former government in favor of their kins. The good thing though is that pathetic excuse
