Very true. But i doubt they would ever be that honest with themselves.

Their goal is to corrupt the religion from within. The act of homosexuality itself doesn't take someone out of the fold of Islam, legalizing it does.

I don't understand why do they want to be part of a religion where they are condemned to hell, and there are quran references stating they should killed and stuff?

It's difficult to engage in something that you know is wrong. Eventually people try to convince themselves that it's either okay to engage in the wrong or they try to argue that the wrong is actually right.

Bv... this is the very argument I had with seculars like union on this site. The scholars all agree sin itself except shirk doesn't remove you from Islam but making xalal what Allah made xaram does.

Alcohol, zina, murder are all major sins. Claiming their xalal by giving them new names or Islam of today is different from the Islam of the prophet etc makes you a kaffir .. those Who try to legalize what Allah made xaram are much worse than sinners even if they themselves don't commit that specific sin.

Abu Dawud (4462) - The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever you find doing the action of the people of Loot, execute the one who does it and the one to whom it is done.".

Qur'an (4:16) - "If two men among you are guilty of lewdness, punish them both."

Abu Dawud (4448) - "If a man who is not married is seized committing sodomy, he will be stoned to death." (Note the implicit approval of sodomizing one's wife).

al-Tirmidhi, Sunan 1:152 - [Muhammad said] "Whoever is found conducting himself in the manner of the people of Lot, kill the doer and the receiver."

Reliance of the Traveller, p17.2 - "May Allah curse him who does what Lot's people did."
He should try a different religion

True but sadly it's almost inevitable.

People who sin need to be reminded that God is Al-Ghafur and Ar-Rahim. Better to repent a thousand times than feel forced to create your own version of Islam that will accept you and your sins.

Someone should tell him Islam is not Baptist Christianity where you can change your diin at will to conform with your issues.
