That doesn't explain your insults on beesha, we have our resident dirty waqooyi unionist Hargeyaay.
Despite his beliefs you'll never see him insulting.

bal explain? :whoa:

Goormu Isaaq noqday, I thought it was common knowledge inuu sheegato ahaa.
Meyle if you are indeed Isaaq, why did you periodically insult beesha barakeysan when you joined?

You mean Sacad Muuse? Long story short, I questioned Sahan's DNA results just for the fun of it and I pointed out that he was a native horn of African (like myself I dont believe that I descended from an Arab man) but Sahan got furious and labelled me a sheegato and since then the whole Sacad Muuse crew in this forum and the HJ has been calling me sheegato but doesn't prove anything and I retaliated until I made peace with Sahan.

Then we have Siciid who labelled me a sheegato just because one of my maternal great grandmothers is Marexaan  and his weird perception that certain Somali clans don't intermarry made him go crazy. When I told him that I didn't care about what he thinks, he pointed out that I claimed my maternal grandmother being Abgaal in another thread just for the sake of arguing however I was just joking with Oba but even that joke had some truth in it because my great grandmother is bah darandoole which is another name for Abgaal.

Some Isaaq members in this forum are either too sensitive or too insecure and why would I lie about my clan.

Samatar forgot his roots, all his teachers from a young age wether in Sheekh or Caamuud were all Isaaq. Welibana top class and well educated, They were graduates from Cambridge and Oxford. Isaguna waa reer Gabiley maxaa markaa ku kalifeya inuu Xamar dhex meereysdo isagoon la rabin oo waxba laga dhegeysaneyn?

The journalist was unprofessional, he wasn't objective at all and he definitely got lectured.

Why shouldn't he be bitter? He's a unionist not because of moral obligation but simply because he believes in the unification of all Somalis. However while in Muqdisho he realized that reer Waqooyi as he put it, can't become the president of Somalia, some even telling him that reer Waqooyi are not fit for the job despite the fact that it was reer Waqooyi that took the initiative to unite Somaliland and Somalia, creating the republic in the first place. He realized what Isaaq realized 50 years ago, a couple of months after unification and unfortunately the attempt to regain independance in 1961 failed but we're on our way today.
but the MP's did not vote on clan allegiance if they did how come two abgaals came out on top? do you think the whole parliament is full of abgaals?

culusow and dalxiis bought MPS votes using money, guys like farmaajo and samatar stood no chance.
but in 8 years time, it will be one man one vote system then the people will freely elect their true representatives.

guys like samatar and farmaajo have a chance to lead then.

It has nothing to do with the votes or the fact that he lost. It's the mentality thats stuck among reer Konfureed. When Somaliland and Somalia united in the 60's the idea was to create a state (Somali republic) made up by two equal parts, however that never happened. Somaliland became a province of Somalia, which is totally against the idea of Somalinimo and the unification of the 5 (equal) Somali regions. Politicians from Somalia dominated the political scene, making up the majority in everything. What Samatar means is that he saw the same exact thing that happened after the unification, for instance people telling him that reer Waqooyi are not fit for the presidential post.

What he realized is something we Isaaq realized 50 years ago. Mr. Farmaajo had a better chance than Samatar because he's Darood. Not any Darood but Darood from former Somalia Italiana. Reer Waqooyi Darood has as much problem as mr. Samatar when it comes to the politics of Somalia and to be honest nothing will change politically.

I was already questioning terms like unity, Somalinimo etc. because Somalis have made these terms ambiguous and double-edged. Somalinet had nothing to do with it to be honest. Its just that I renounced my previous beliefs here. I become sort of a political atheist for a couple of weeks but now Im a Somalilander, alxamdulilaah.

you classify konfuur as one entity when in fact its not, konfuur today is more then 5 entities.

lets say for argument sake, kunfoor is one, do you then think konfuur is equal to waqooyi? when kunfoor is far bigger in land and population?

do you think it is fair for hawiye/ darood/ D&M to get 50% of parliament while isaaq gets the other 50%?

They act as one entity when dealing with Somaliland politically and if you dont believe me you can look at it in a historical context. So what if Somalia as in the south is larger than Somaliland, that doesnt mean you have the right to abject the proposition that was presented. Somaliland and Somalia united as two equal entities and therefore it is more than right to split the parlament between Waqooyi and Koonfur. The reason why Somaliland ended up as a province was political greed and you just pointed that out with;

do you think it is fair for hawiye/ darood/ D&M to get 50% of parliament while isaaq gets the other 50%?

Thats that mentality Im talking about and exactly what mr. Samatar saw in Muqdisho.

Edit: Somaliland is not just Isaaq but all the clans that live there. The same people that created Somali republic in the first place.

Somaliland state IS isaaq. Its as simple and truthful as saying Hawiye obliterated Mogadishu and thus Somalia.
The new thing for these guys is to spread that they 'joined' a union forming Somalia....You do realize the gaalo created that protectorate for themselves (for multiple purposes including division etc) not out of good will.
That's the mentality I'm talking about sabotaging Somalia every way possible cheerleading for onlookers interested in how a part of Somalia wants to run away instead of fixing it, not thinking straight are we my ? friend trying to access the Idoor IRC ?

Somalia was created by Italians even the name Somalia is Italian hence Somalia Italiana. Somalia is a latin suffix denoting land, another example is Italia which literally means the land of the young cattle. The British protectorate was established inorder to supply the other British colonies mainly yemen with meat and livestock however when we gained independence we chose to unite with the former Italian colony despite no connection with koonfur prior to colonialisation. Thats basic facts that you're trying to dismiss. Somaliland is supported by all the clans living there. few groups (diaspora) might oppose but the majority is on board.

So my question to you is, how are we sabotaging Somalia, a country that we never were a part of?

Meyle, do you think Isaaq is any different? On the forum they are all kumbaya and Somaliland, but privately they are caku kii HabarJeclo ama habar Yonis, ama Habar awal etc. Whether you look at Somalia or Somaliland, they are the same people with the same dhaqan. Somaliland got a head start in it's stability, and insha'allah the rest of somalia shall follow the same path.

Lakin, don't take the distortion of reality that you see on Somalinet seriously. We will all move forward. Wa billahi tawfiq.

PO,

there is a difference between our political cultures.
Isaaq are direct and not politically correct.

and isaaq will say exactly what he thinks about your clan, while people from the south will be politically correct in public and extreme clannists in private.

you get what you see with us, no hidden agenda
