No one knows what is the govts solution would be but I feel they will keep their gains and to reject the igads next proposal but the people want them to come up with the solution not to let the conflict take longer yet this depends on the peoples elites. The conflict may take a year.

I hope you read for abukar arman an ex diplomat who lived in america more than 30 years he is good at foreing policy. at the end of the article he advises the govt to take action againist kenya.

Everyone is right, technically IGAD will not come under the new Rep nor will it be independent of it.

Sahal, accidentally mistranslated one word in the Somali interview....isuduwidda is not destroying one or transferring duties but harmonizing and coordinating.

They will have greater coordination is what is meant.

Obviously that just means, the UN/West is going to have primacy over piss poor African IGAD anyways.

basically he is the coordinator not igad so its the same.
