Since 2012, the Bosaso port has been undergoing a large, multi-phase renovation project. The first phase has been completed, though the port was already one of the larger harbors in the territory:



A study ca. 2011 also found that Bosaso was the fastest growing city of all of the various Somali towns it analysed. The paper included settlements in both the south and northwest (Xamar and Hargeisa were excluded), so that's saying something.

By the way, why isn't there a Puntland flag smilie while there is one for the other maamul?

Bilis that picture of Bossaso is amazing! much more green areas than the Oman picture and even the buildings will be more beautiful, the same with the ocean.
