^^ Isn't the conflict between Marehaan and Ogaden not a political one , i believe there is no deep seated animosity between the 2 clans but a political conflict. Everything is political in the Somali conflict.

i still think its a political conflict i dont think they attacked Col hiiiraale because they dislike Marehaan, Madoobe did everything to win Marehaan over, and even before the clash. Marehaan were half on board the clash was unfortunate really. The Kenyan factor is there but Hiiraale captured what 75% of Kismayo in the first few hours.And The Kenyans were back up plan Somalidu xukunka isku ma ogala which is a political conflict not necessarily a qabiil one. Marexaan was never half on board and food the most part against it.
