Al Jazeera is crazy, they talk about things that are not even relevant, like a mayor in some village being elected in Japan...how is this relevant in worldwide affairs. They dont even talk about what goes on in Doha.
however they do have some obsession with Africans..always replaying documentaries about the colonialism in Africa.

Al Jazeera's bias is that they want to be a voice for the 'Global South' i.e. those areas that were colonized but do not get covered by the big news corporations of the world. Their deal is reporting stories that are fluid, not just breaking news and parachuting their correspondents in.

They had a crew out in Gaza in 2008 and 2009 when no one else did.

They had (or have) a bureau in Mogadishu and were reporting from Southern Somalia and even interviewing Al-Shabaab members.

They also did documentaries in Burma.

And of course, they won't criticize the Qatari government. The channel is owned by them, they put in a lot of resources. Besides, its not like Qatar is a big country anyway.
