Also, you do realise countries don't become rich due to foreign investment? Or have you also been sold on the old "free-market" garbage? It makes perfect sense. Although they are acting on their own interests, we also gain from it. Do you have any idea how much economic activity from the locals will grow just from a few dozen km of paved roads? A few taxi companies have popped up in Xamar. Do you think that would have been possible without paving the main busiest roads in the city? They employ hundreds of drivers and the average I heard each are making is $400 a month. It goes above and beyond that. Every single inhabitant in Mogadishu will financially benefit from the Turkish development eventually. The restaurant owners, the electronic stores, the hairdresses, basically the number of small and medium sized businesses will skyrocket. Trust me the Turkish development is the best thing to happen to Xamar in a while. Not to mention the thousands of students who will graduate from the training schools in the next coming years. We will benefit more than they will benefit.

All we have to make sure is that the foreigners don't rob us from our resources but checks will be put in place. They will get away with a share but it won't be robbery
