We could reduce the unemployment rate if they the govt boost the numbers of the army conscript new train new cadets up to colonels we should also build our own Military schools a home grown trainings how hard is to copy from the Schools of Addis Ababa the Training command of Harar. We should build an army where we can mobilize close to 250.000 if needed, we live in a very volatile and hostile regions always be on guard . We should also import new hardware weaponry modern tanks Abram tanks T90 Tanks to Gunships we should throw away those rusty soviet crap.

Somaliland should follow the footsteps of Eritrea. They broke away from Ethiopia around the same time as we did, but their army consists of 320.000 active personal with a reserve of 250.000 troops. Incluidng a functioning air force and navy. They achieved this with out receiving a single penny from this so called international community, in constrast to condoms of the international community such as Ethiopia and Djibouti. Their people builded their entire country. We could do the same by improving this shitty tax system. Stop focusing taxing the old lady who sells tomatoes. But focus on the money that comes in Somaliland each year. The govt has no idea how many millions the SL diaspora each years sends through all these xawaalads. Set up a proper bank system, get rid of all these so called xawaaladooyin who have no intrest in making Somaliland a prosporing country. By doing this you can tax the diaspora properly. Thereafter you could get rid of all these personal money exchangers on the streets, forcing the locals to exchange their money through the govt.

We can build Somaliland ourselves like the Eritreans did but we lack ideas and reliable govt officials.
