Most Somalis had self-rule in the form of Sultanates , nothing special. You stole our self governing modern structure lol. We were going to name our state Puntland too. but we eventually went for Somaliland. You can have our "leftovers"


Watch from 3:38 to 8:00. about the SL emblem and official name. You will always stay a copycat. He said there was 14 proposed names and he came up with a couple of names, one was Puntland lol.

P.s. the real land of Punt is located in Somaliland territory.
